I have been in the creative field since 2014. I love everything about the beauty industry. Originally, I went to Toni & Guy in Worcester, MA ;with the sole intention of becoming a Makeup Artist. After graduating from beauty school, I started my career in Hudson, MA, where I worked behind the chair for 7 years. As time passed, I grew into loving hair artistry, and it soon became second nature to me; especially color! Working behind the chair solidified my love and niche for coloring, blonding, balayage, lived-in looks, hand-tied hair extensions, and formal/bridal stylings. In 2020, everything in the world changed, and I decided to change with it. I moved my career to Acton, MA; to be at The Beauty Lounge. This change catapulted me to become better professionally and personally. Becoming a better stylist by being able to work at a place I love and have the ability to take creative freedom and flexibility with my craft. The true focus for stylists at The Beuty Lounge is to be the best stylist for ourselves and our clients, while staying current with education and trends. I am excited to announce that as of 2023. I will become an independent stylist and will be launching my own LLC as "Hair by Alyssa”. While I will become an independent stylist, I will still be available at this amazing modern salon you’ve come to all know. Now, let me tell you a little bit more about myself!...When I’m not at work, I am usually spending time with my husband Liam and our fur baby Louie, the Yorkie. We live in New Hampshire, where we love to hike around this beautiful state and enjoy all of the lovely landscapes in every season but in the summer, you will definitely find me going to a country concert by Lake Winni. When we aren’t in NH, we are travel bugs, visiting sites across New England and The Caribbean. On the rare chance we are home, we love to binge watch mysteries or anything on Bravo (guilty; I love reality TV)! When I find the chance, I will read a great book with Louie for days. I hope this gives you a sufficient little glimpse of me, my life, and my new endeavor. Cancellation Policy
Please read my cancellation policy carefully, by booking you are accepting these terms. I require a 48 Hour notice when canceling or rescheduling an appointment. More information is placed in the jot form section of my website. If there is a cancellation or no show within the 48 hours of the scheduled appointment, there will be a 50-100% fee.
